PCB Repair

In a small number of cases the fault in your hard drive may be attributed to the drive's motherboard or printed circuit board (PCB). The solder joints on the current USB 3.0 socket are quite fragile to say the least. We always recommend unplugging the cable before transporting your hard drive as this minimizes the chance for damage as a result of undue pressure being placed on the fragile socket.
